Orthodox not true Church: Vatican PDF Print E-mail

29 June is the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, who founded the Church of Antioch, before they went around Asia Minor founding the Church in many places there, and before they went to Rome to found the Church there.

The Church of Rome chose 29 June 2007 to issue a declaration that the Churches of Antioch, and Asia Minor, and most of the Christian East, are not part of the True Church because they are not in communion with Rome.

A copy of the Vatican's declaration is available here in pdf format (185kb).
