North American Orthodox-Catholic Consultation 2006 PDF Print E-mail

The North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation held its 70th meeting at Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, Massachusetts, from June 5 to 7, 2006. The meeting was co-chaired by Metropolitan Maximos of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh and Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk of Cincinnati.

Most of the focus in discussions at this meeting were on issues surrounding the Petrine promise and Papal authority.

No joint statement was issued at this meeting.
